Draw the head
Start a little above the middle of your page. Draw a wide oval that is almost twice as wide as it is tall. Press lightly so you can fix it later.

Add the eye bumps
On the top edge of the head, draw a big circle on the left and another on the right. Let them stick up above the head, with a small gap between them.

Draw the eyes
Inside each circle, draw a smaller circle for the white of the eye. Inside that, draw a dark pupil and leave a tiny white dot for the shine. Add a small pink oval low on each cheek.

Draw the smile
Draw one long curved line from cheek to cheek for a big smile. Above it, add two tiny dots for the nose.

Draw the body
Under the head, draw a round body that is a little narrower than the head. Inside it, draw an oval for the light tummy.

Add the legs and spots
Draw two front legs going down over the tummy with small hands at the bottom. On each side, draw a big rounded back leg and a long, wide foot. Add three small spots on top of the head.

Color your frog
Color the head, eyes, body and legs green. Use light green for the tummy and darker green for the spots. Color the cheeks pink and keep the pupils dark.

Draw light first
Keep your first lines soft, then press harder once you like the shape.

Wide, not tall
A frog head looks best when it is much wider than it is tall.

Eyes on top
Let the eye bumps stick up above the head so they look bulgy.

One smooth smile
Draw the smile in one quick line so it looks happy and smooth.

Go over the final lines
Trace your drawing with a darker pencil or a black pen so it stands out after coloring.

Draw a big green circle with a small cut out under your frog for a fun scene.
