Draw the head
Start in the upper part of your page, because the body goes below. Draw a big round head that is a little wider at the bottom. Press lightly so you can fix it later.

Add the round ears
On the top left and top right of the head, draw a round ear. Let each ear overlap the head a little. Inside each ear, draw a smaller circle.

Draw the eyes
In the middle of the face, draw two small circles with a gap between them. Color them dark but leave a tiny white dot for the shine.

Draw the snout
Below the eyes, draw a wide oval for the snout. At the top of it, draw an oval nose and color it dark. Draw a short line down from the nose and a small curvy smile.

Draw the body
Under the head, draw a big body that is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom. Inside it, draw a large oval for the light tummy.

Add the arms and feet
On each side of the body, draw a long rounded arm hanging down. At the bottom, draw two big oval feet. On each foot, draw one bigger circle and three small circles for the paw pads.

Color your bear
Color the head, ears, body, arms and feet brown. Use light tan for the snout, tummy, inner ears and paw pads. Keep the eyes and nose dark.

Draw light first
Keep your first lines soft, then press harder once you like the shape.

Small ears make a bear look cute. Big ears can make it look like a mouse.

Keep it round
Almost every part of this bear is a circle or an oval, so there are no hard corners.

Try black fur for a black bear, white fur for a polar bear, or add a bow tie.

Trace your drawing with a darker pencil or a black pen so it stands out after coloring.

Put down the light tan first, then the brown around it.
