This cartoon shark is made from a long curved body, a few pointy fins and a big smile. Watch each step being drawn in pencil, then copy it on your own paper. It works for kids from about age 5 and for adult beginners too.
Copy the dark lines in each step. The grey lines are the parts you already drew.
Turn your paper sideways if you like. Draw a long, curved body shape across the middle of the page. Make the right end round and wide for the nose, and let the left end get thinner. Press lightly so you can fix it later.

Inside the body, draw a curved line from the left end to the nose, a little below the middle. Everything under this line is the white belly.

On the thin left end, draw a big tail fin. One point goes up and back, and the other goes down and back, like a sideways letter V.

On top of the back, draw a tall pointy fin that leans back. Under the body near the middle, draw a smaller fin that points down and back.

Near the nose, draw a round eye, color it dark and leave a tiny white dot for the shine. Under it, draw a long curved smile.

Behind the eye, draw three short curved lines side by side for the gills. In front of the nose, draw three bubbles of different sizes.

Color the top of the body blue and the fins and tail a darker blue. Leave the belly white and color the bubbles light blue. Keep the eye dark.
