Tips for colouring these tiger pages
Start with the big areas first, like the tiger body and the background, then move to the small details such as eyes, stripes and props. Light colours go on first, dark colours last.
- Toddlers and preschoolers: try the tiger cub sitting in grass, the tiger sleeping under a tree, the tiger face close up smiling, the baby tiger with a ball, the tiger standing in a meadow, the tiger cub hiding behind bushes, the tiger napping in a flower garden, the tiger waving a paw hello, the tiger eating a watermelon slice, the tiger cub wearing a leaf hat or the tiger cub peeking from a pumpkin. They have big, simple shapes.
- Older kids: the tiger swimming in a lake, the tiger mother with two cubs, the tiger in a bamboo forest, the tiger watching a sunset over hills, the tiger under a starry sky, the tiger in the snow with pine trees, the tiger at a jungle waterfall and the tiger king on a jungle throne pages have more detail to fill in.
- Use any colours you like. Tigers can be orange, golden, white like a snow tiger, or even a fun purple.
