ABD Creatives is a free creative hub for artists. We share art ideas you can actually use, starting with simple drawing ideas and growing into coloring pages, painting, art techniques, supplies and crafts.
Why we made this
Most people who want to make art do not need a long video or an expensive course. They need one clear idea in front of them and a simple way to start.
That is the whole idea behind this site. You pick something, keep it open next to you, and create. No account, no sign up, no paywall.
What you will find here
- Drawing ideas. Easy outline drawings of animals and flowers that you can copy, trace, download and print. This section is live today.
- Coloring pages. Printable pages for kids and adults. Coming soon.
- Painting and watercolor. Simple painting ideas and beginner friendly guides. Coming soon.
- Art techniques. Shading, perspective, color mixing and other basics, explained in plain words. Coming soon.
- Art supplies. Honest guides to pencils, paper, paints and brushes, so you know what to buy first. Coming soon.
- Crafts and DIY art. Easy projects for home, school and festivals. Coming soon.
How we keep it useful
Every idea is checked before it goes up. For drawings, that means clean lines, a subject you can recognise, and enough space around it that you can see how the parts fit together.
If something has a mistake in it, or does not work when you try it, write to us and we will fix it or take it down.
Who this is for
Anyone who wants to make art. Kids who are just starting, adults picking up a pencil or brush after years, hobby artists looking for fresh ideas, and parents or teachers who need something a child can do without help. You do not need special tools to begin. A pencil, an eraser and some paper is enough.
How the site works
Ideas are grouped into categories, and each category has its own page with the full set plus notes on how to make that subject. Open any single idea to see it full size, read a short description, and download it.
The most liked ideas move to the top of each category automatically. So the order you see is shaped by what people actually use, not by what we decided to feature.
Free to use
Everything here is free to download and print for personal practice, home and classroom use. If you want to use something for a product you sell, please ask us first.
What is coming
Animals and flowers are ready today. Birds, coloring pages and our first painting and art technique guides are next. If there is something you want to learn or make and cannot find here, tell us and we will add it.
