Add the big horns
On each side of the head, draw a big horn that curves out and back, like a wide smile.

Draw the ears and eyes
Under each horn, draw a small ear that sticks out. Then draw two round eyes with a white shine.

Draw the muzzle
At the bottom of the head, draw a wide light oval. Add two nostrils, a smile and pink cheeks.

Draw the body
Under the head, draw a big round body with a light tummy.

Add the arms and feet
Draw a round arm on each side and two feet with dark hooves at the bottom.

Color your buffalo
Dark grey for the body, light grey for the muzzle and tummy, cream for the horns and black for the hooves.

Draw light first
Keep your first lines soft, then press harder once you like the shape.

Big horns
Draw the horns wide and curving back, like a big smile on each side of the head.

Wide muzzle
Make the muzzle wide and light so the face looks friendly.

Dark hooves
Color the bottom of the feet black to show the hooves.

Go over the final lines
Trace your drawing with a darker pencil or a black pen so it stands out after coloring.

Once you finish your buffalo, add a background, a friend or a funny hat.
