Draw the head
Start in the upper part of your page, because the body goes below. Draw a round head. At the bottom left and bottom right, add a small pointy tuft of fur on each cheek. Press lightly so you can fix it later.
▶ Watch this stepThis cartoon cheetah is made from simple shapes: a round head with small ears and a pear shaped body, then black spots on top. Watch each step being drawn in pencil, then copy it on your own paper. It works for kids from about age 5 and for adult beginners too.
Copy the dark lines in each step. The grey lines are the parts you already drew.

In the upper half of the face, draw two round eyes with a gap between them. Color them dark and leave a white dot for the shine. From the inside corner of each eye, draw a thin line going down towards the mouth. These are the tear marks.

Across the lower face, draw a wide shape that dips in the middle, like a soft letter M. This is the white muzzle. In the dip, draw a small dark nose, then a short line and a little smile.

Under the head, draw a body that is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, like a pear. On the tummy, draw a long oval.

Do not skip the tear marks. They are what make it a cheetah.
Draw the spots after everything else so they sit on top of the fur.
Make some spots a little bigger and some smaller so they look natural.
Trace your drawing with a darker pencil or a black pen so it stands out after coloring.
Cheetahs are the fastest land animals. Add speed lines behind it for fun.
