Draw the head
In the upper part of your page, draw a round head that is a bit wider at the bottom, with chubby cheeks. Press lightly so you can fix it later.

Add the small ears
On the top left and top right of the head, draw two small round ears. Inside each one, draw a smaller circle.

Draw the eyes
In the upper half of the face, draw two round eyes. Color them dark and leave a white dot for the shine. Add a pink oval on each cheek.

Draw the muzzle and big teeth
In the lower part of the face, draw a light oval for the muzzle. At the top of it, draw a dark round nose, a short line down and a little mouth. Under the muzzle, draw two big square front teeth with a line between them.

Draw the body
Under the head, draw a body that is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, like a pear. On the tummy, draw a light oval.

Add the paws and flat tail
Draw two small round paws on the tummy and two oval feet at the bottom. On the right side, draw a big flat tail shaped like a paddle. Draw criss cross lines on the tail.

Color your beaver
Color the fur brown and the muzzle and tummy light brown. Color the tail, nose, paws, feet and inner ears dark brown. Leave the teeth white and color the cheeks pink.

Draw light first
Keep your first lines soft, then press harder once you like the shape.

Big teeth
The two front teeth are the star of this drawing. Make them big and square.

Small ears
Beaver ears are small. Big ears would make it look like a mouse.

Flat tail
Draw the tail wide and flat with round edges, like a ping pong paddle.

Go over the final lines
Trace your drawing with a darker pencil or a black pen so it stands out after coloring.

Add a stick
Draw a small stick in its paws, because beavers love to chew wood.
