Draw the head
Turn your paper sideways, because the alligator is long. On the right side, draw the head: round at the back and long and flat at the front for the snout. Press lightly so you can fix it later.
▶ Watch this stepThis cartoon alligator starts with the head and its long snout, then you add the eyes, smile, body, legs and back bumps. Watch each step being drawn in pencil, then copy it on your own paper. It works for kids from about age 6 and for adult beginners too.
